Alessia Guarracino, CEO at BrickScape, tells us the story of her company

Brickscape is an innovative start-up for the promotion of experiential tourism. Its category search engine filters and compares the national experiential offer from the partner sites and provide thousands of proposals that can be booked online.

The idea comes up from Silvia Pinferi and Alessia Guarracino, two architects who decided to spend their know-how in the touristic sector creating their own company.

In 2015 the project was awarded by I-Go, TAG Toscana, as the best business idea in Tuscany. The BrickScape’s project was also a finalist in the national contest ING-CHALLENGE tourism section, promoted by ING DIRECT.

The company was created in 2017 thanks to the funding received from the Municipality of Florence and the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and from the POR CREO FESR Toscana 2014-2020 framework, for the design and development of the portal.

Guarracino explains that today the BrickScape team is composed of 5 founding members and a group of collaborators, all with a very different background but united by the passion for travel. 

BrickScape is also promoted by an active community of bloggers who periodically try the offers published on the portal and tell their experience on the Brickscape blog.
