In fact, we actively promote the use of the methods, as we can directly bear witness of their effectiveness: we apply the methods with students coming from abroad (for work placement reasons) and we see the great results obtained.
CSCS has created a network of teachers and use this network to exchange lessons, plans, exercises and ready to use materials. Furthermore CSCS plan another training meant to present the methods to other language teachers in Italy.
Moreover, in the same area of linguistics (research, implementation of projects and initiatives), CSCS participates to a new project called Pools-CX whose goal is to create a center of excellence for language teaching. The members of the center, trained with Pools methods, will able to integrate some of these methods into their curriculum and will also exploit the pool of instruments and ready to use materials created over the last years.
The methods CSCS apply are suitable for all types of students: TBL is probably more appropriate for VeT students, Simulations work better with students having already a certain level of proficiency, PhyEmoC can be successfully used with children, etc.[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_video link=”http://vimeo.com/44462109″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
