The Celebration of the European Vocational Skills Week in Pistoia with the seminar “Acquire skills through an exchange abroad” will take place on the 7th of November 2018, from 4 pm, care of Incubatore.net, the business incubator in Pistoia.
The 7th of November 2018, starting at 4pm, on the occasion of the European Skills Week and within the framework of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and Italymobility.com Programmes, some students of European Vocational Schools and Institutes, some apprentices and some foreign entrepreneurs who are in Tuscany thanks to the support of CSCS – Centro Studi Cultura Sviluppo di Pistoia, will meet care of the seat of the Business Incubator: 80, via Niccolò Puccini in Pistoia, together with Italian entrepreneurs hosting them, to discuss the benefits of the mobility abroad during the professional training or paths.
Citizens are invited to attend the event in order to learn about mobility opportunities offered by European funds and to listen live to some success stories of Italian and foreign entrepreneurs who have taken advantage of European mobility programs. Students, parents, apprentices and entrepreneurs and anyone else who wants to have direct information on mobility in Europe is invited. The opportunity will be useful to talk about the various learning mobility opportunities within the European Union and to celebrate the most active Italian and foreign entrepreneurs in the European Commission’s Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs Programme. The video campaign #WeLoveMobility will be launched during the event, and details will be released on how to participate in the competition.
The international consortium led by CSCS since 2008 is currently the first in Europe in terms of business exchanges of the EYE programme. Thanks to the recent signing of a new six-year framework contract, it has a budget that will allow to finance up to 250 entrepreneurial exchanges. The Pistoia-based consortium, in addition to facilitating the creation of networks between entrepreneurs, business-to-business contacts and the internationalisation of SMEs, offers financing support and provides local start-ups with various incubation activities and free coworking spaces.
The 2018 European Professional Skills Week will be held in Vienna, from 5 to 9 November. As part of the week, hundreds of events and activities will take place throughout Europe from September to December.
“Discover your talent!” is the motto of the week organised by the European Commission. The week will bring together training centres, organisations, public authorities, business organisations and a wider public to improve the profile of vocational education and training (VET). The goal of the week is to show that VET is a smart choice, leading to excellence in education, high quality jobs and greater employability.
