Once again this year, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona, in collaboration with i3P – Politecnico di Torino, is launching the eighth edition of MY START BCN - a competition open to all Italian citizens who are founders of innovative start-ups (whether or not they are officially registered as such) and are eager to enter the Spanish market.
What’s at Stake?
The winning start-up will receive:
Six months of free coworking space
A stand at the 4YFN event in Barcelona in 2026
Administrative and financial support
Tailored mentoring to accelerate the project
Networking opportunities within the venture capital ecosystem
One-year membership with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona
From all applications received, five start-ups will be selected to travel to Barcelona, where they will pitch their projects to a panel of professionals.
Submissions will be judged based on:
The level of innovation introduced to the market
Competitive advantage and scalability potential
Attractiveness of the target market and alignment with the product/service
Strength and quality of the entrepreneurial team
Milestones and results already achieved

Video pitch presenting the project

The winner will be announced and awarded in November 2025, during the Premio Faro del Mediterraneo event, hosted by the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Barcelona.
